Expand your Abaqus knowledge throughout the year with the paid Continual Learning Program

Topic: Debugging
Details:

Unfortunately, a finite element model does not always behave as expected. In those cases, the analyst needs to determine what is going wrong and how this can be solved. The aim of this webinar is to help you do that. There will be three sections.

In the first one, we will discuss 9 suggested strategies that help to build up a model sensibly and diagnose issues.

The second section focusses on obtaining model information: what information is available, and where can it be found? Attention will be paid to the job monitor, different output files and job diagnostics.

The third and last section will focus on one of the most common situations needing debugging: non-convergence. We’ll discuss some tips and tricks, and also go through the most common error and warnings messages related to non-convergence.

What is the Continual Learning Program?

The continual learning program is a paid series of 10 webinars delivered during the year. Signing up to the program gives your company full access to the 10 webinars, so every employee in every location can benefit.

The content of the presentations can be provided on request in pdf-format after the webinar. You will also get access to the recordings of the webinars.

You can find an overview below of a few of the handled topics in the past years:
