Quickly Associate One Parameter Value to Another in CATIA
There is now a quick and easy way to link one parameter value to another in CATIA. In this example we will look at linking two dimensions quickly in sketcher.
1) The following sketch contains two constraints; Offset 1 = 160 and Offset 2 =60.
2) Let’s make Offset 2 = Offset 1. In order to do this we must double click on the Offset 2 constrain in order to modify it.
3) Simply type “=” in the box and select the Offset 1 constraint. This quickly create a link where the Offset 2 constraint value is controlled by Offset 1 constraint value.
